‘Guide for the Local Self-government Units – Environmental noise’ is one of the deliverables of the SENVIBE project, within the activities planned in the No&Vib Hub SENVIBE platform for noise and vibration – a common central unit for networking academic and non-academic institutions in the field of noise and vibration.
This activity was led by the Provincial Secretariat for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection, as representative partner of governmental sector in SENVIBE project. This publication is mainly aimed to enhance capacity in the field of environmental noise among representatives of governmental sector on national, regional and local level, engineers and other experts in the field of environmental protection.
The main idea was to create original publication with basic knowledge about environmental noise, noise impact on human health, measurement methodology and noise assessment, monitoring methodology, acoustic zoning, strategic noise maps, and noise protection action plans, accompanying them with the relevant standards and regulations (national and European) related to environmental noise.
The editor and one of the authors is Professor Ivana Kovačić from the University of Novi Sad, the SENVIBE Project Coordinator. The contributing authors are:
