The Learning material NOISE AND VIBRATION IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT – Evaluation, assessment and effects is one of the deliverables of the SENVIBE project, within the activities planned in Task 3.3 Development of learning materials, the work package 3, Development of modules and courses for different engineering departments.
The learning material is intended to be used by the students in study programmes within the field of ‘Occupational Safety Engineering’, but is recommended as additional literature to students from other fields of engineering dealing with noise and vibration issues.
Apart from providing basic information on noise and vibration in the work environment, this learning material offers a complete description of all of the quantities used in noise and vibration control, and procedures for evaluating and assessing noise and vibrations, as well as the effects of occupational noise and vibration exposures.
