Results of the survey questionnaire

SENVIBE Questionnaire ‘Public Opinion on Environmental Noise Issues’ has been carried out and finalised. A total of 2,269 citizens in 24 cities and 57 municipalities of the Republic of Serbia were surveyed, with the largest territorial coverage of the population being in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (88.3%). The survey was designed in such a way as to gain insight into the attitudes and opinions of the wider population, related to the environmental noise, while taking into account the representation of all socio-demographic categories of the population when generating the sample of respondents.

Provincial Secretariat for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection, who carried out this activity within the SENVIBE project, complied a document entitled ‘Analysis of the results of the survey on examination of public opinion on environmental noise issues’ (it is written in Serbia as being of national interest and it is enclosed). The results of the survey presented in this publication related to the perception, knowledge and expectations of the respondents, will be the starting point for improving the work of administrative bodies in the field of environmental noise and informing the general public in a clear and precise way, aligned with their expectations, as well as for creating target media campaigns and communication strategies of administrative bodies with the public.
